Why the heck are management fees being more than doubled?

Do they want to hire somebody new? How hard can it be to negotiate, what, 3 or 4 contracts during the year? They need a pool guy, and lawn guy, a maintenance guy, maybe an exterminator? The HOA shouldn't have to do but so much in the way of "management." It's a part-time job at best. No reason to pay two people full salary to take care of it.
